Ecocycle Australia (formerly CMA Ecocycle) is Australasia’s leading recycler of mercury, lighting, batteries and e-waste. In addition to consumer recycling programs, they work with the mining, gas and petroleum industry, as well as the dental and medical sectors.

Assemblo has worked with Ecocycle since 2013 to establish and maintain a highly-effective lead generation funnel and an impressive digital and industry presence. Since working with Ecocycle, we’ve been able to help them grow their business to new heights and constantly expand around Australia, including supporting the development of new recycling initiatives.

Designing an innovative web presence for Australia’s leading mercury recycler

Following a change of ownership, Ecocycle needed to relaunch their brand online. The business was focused on aggressive growth and a new digital presence was crucial to reflect their market-leading position while driving online lead generation.

Through a detailed workshop, Assemblo worked closely with Ecocycle to develop an information architecture that would simplify the user experience on their site and build logical user-centric funnels to lead users towards conversions.

The fully-responsive website features an in-depth news and media section to help educate, inform and support a complex content marketing strategy to leverage search, SEO and social media.

The site is supported with the creation of regular, high-quality articles that are promoted through social media channels and further amplified with advertising on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

Since its launch in 2013, the website has undergone a series of improvements and refinements to ensure the site has remained competitive and up-to-date with the latest standards.

Through this activity, the site continues to grow month on month in both organic (search) traffic and generation of highly qualified leads. This is further supported through digital marketing activity targeting key product offerings over programmatic advertising, Google AdWords and social media.
