The Brief And Our Approach

LDB Group is a business and financial advisory firm with a friendly yet welcoming culture and a focus on helping their clients across all stages of their life and business. The firm has continued to grow and evolve, gaining a unique position in their market, but their brand and digital presence no longer reflected their business and they wanted to increase their market awareness.

They approached Assemblo to redesign and modernise their website, and develop a new brand position to reflect their business and its offering.

The rebrand of LDB Group was focused on the premise of ‘Working as One’, illustrating the benefits of the cross-over between their unique business skill sets. A bold colour palette and bold lettering was developed to visualise the integration of departments (through a Venn diagram) and differentiate them from the competition. Life and personality are integral to LDB Group’s culture and we wanted their brand to reflect this. The brand was rolled out across collateral including business cards, brochures, flyers, letterheads and other materials.

We developed a responsive website featuring an in-depth news and media section and the design focused on user-experience, with the intention to grow with LDB Group’s future marketing activities. The site shifted from focusing on departments, to focusing more on solutions to suit key audience groups. A photo shoot of the LDB Group office and team gave the website a more personal look into the business, with a focus on the team and the culture.

The site features fully integrated enquiry forms and is aimed to move people between key services and related articles.

The Results

The rebranding was met with an overwhelming positive response from both the LDB Group team and their clients, and serves as a great representation of their business philosophy.

Time and average page views on the new website are performing well, with a very low bounce rate, and we’ve seen an increase in organic search traffic since launching in August 2015. The new website and social media channels position LDB Group perfectly to launch unified, ongoing marketing activity and the ability to cut through their competition.
